9/26 RAW Breakdown: Punk vs. Del Rio Main Event, IC Title Battle Royal and More

– As noted before, last week’s September 26th WWE RAW Supershow scored a 2.93 cable rating with 4.15 million viewers.

 


 

In the segment-by-segment breakdown, the opener with Triple H, Christian, Vickie Guerrero, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler opened to a 3.21 rating, down from the previous week’s opener. The battle royal for the Intercontinental Title lost 156,000 viewers. The Divas match with Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly vs. Natalya and Beth Phoenix lost another 361,000 viewers.

The Great Khali vs. Mark Henry lost 160,000 more viewers and did a 2.74 quarter-hour rating. The interview with John Cena and match against Christian gained 344,000 viewers, which was below average for the 10pm timeslot. Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler and the six-man match with Ryder, Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston vs. Ziggler, Jack Swagger and the returning-turning Mason Ryan lost 284,000 viewers.

CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio in the main event gained 49,000 viewers and did a 2.77 quarter-hour rating, which is way below the usual RAW main event numbers. The overrun with the brawl inside of the Hell in a Cell picked up 638,000 viewers and ended at a 3.24 rating.
