I must say I feel slightly vindicated having written the article below back in August but even more so than having predicted what would, or more importantly what should happen, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised that WWE has followed through on something in a seemingly logical and to this point effective way.
While the way they did it was fairly lame and if you couldn’t have guessed that Punk would be Nexus new leader by nights end, you might need a little more practice at foreshadowing, either way this for WWE is a GOOD THING! I would love to see them actually prolong this potential mega feud to culminate at WrestleMania but for starters this is a positive step. I will keep this short, since I encourage you to go back and read the article below. I posted two links, you may have to copy and paste but I will leave two other short thoughts before I go.
For those of you who say I never have unkind words for WWE. I will say that while I enjoyed the TLC ppv, I can not begin to explain how bad of a decision it was to have John Cena vs. Wade Barrett go on last. So stunning and so many reasons it was not the right move. It was even worse than putting Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry on as the last match at the 06 Rumble, well maybe not quite but it was close. Good pay per view, horrible ending.
The last thing I will say is the interaction with John Cena and the crowd on last weeks Raw with Vicki Guerrero was phenomenal. I haven’t seen someone get heat like that in a long time, that was a great moment. Well played on all parts, big credit to the Texas crowd that night. Enjoy the article, who knows maybe WWE creative will continue to make logical decisions…..we can only hope!
