– Abyss stated Wednesday during a chat session on TNAOnDemand.com that he would be defending the X Division Championship (which he renamed the Extreme Title) against Brian Kendrick next month at Destination X.

— Kazarian is featured in Impact Wrestling’s latest “Why Wrestling Matters” video. The former TNA X Division Champion discusses what drives his passion and dedication for professional wrestling.

“There are a number of people out there, old and young, male and female, that want an alternative, that want a pro wrestling company,” Kazarian says. “They want to be entertained by what happens inside of a wrestling ring. They don’t want to be talked to, they don’t want to be lied to, they want to watch people fight. That’s why Impact Wrestling is important today, more so than it ever has been.”

why did they rename the x-title. If they decided to rename it which i dont think they should of why not no limits title or something like that. I know thats lame to but im just thinking of ideas cause i think extreme championship is a dumb name for a title. So what is destination X going to be destination Xtreme and is the ultimate x match goign to be an ultimate Extreme match. Also is abyss going to be invovled in that match becasue if he is thats going to be a train reck. I mean i have never been to much of a fan of abyss anyways because i just thought he was a mankind/kane rip off. But his in ring skills are decent nothing to special an average big person. He isnt samoa joe who is a heavy weight but can handle being in a Ultimate X match. If they put abyss in that match i guarentee it will be either worse match of that night or abyss will get hurt trying to do something stupid.

@Stumpy Couldn’t have said it better myself.

These videos are like watching a presidential candidate make a campaign speech. They say all of the things they think you want to hear but do only about a quarter of what they say. Well I say to them shut your piehole and get to work. Talk is cheap.

The other hour and ten minutes is Matt Hardy eating grapes.

They dont want to be talked to .. isnt this the exact opposite of what people like Steiner and Gunner have been saying?
Its also the exact opposite of what TNA are doing. All they are doing is talking to us with these little videos, then doing absolutely nothing to change the way they work in the ring and on tv.
We are still only getting 20 mins of in ring work on a two hour (hour and a half with ad breaks) show, so what is the other hour and ten minutes if its not people talking?

good point kaz if you didn’t have impact wrestling the show that was all wrestling wouldn’t be an alternative would it?

They seem to be changing the name of their titles often. World/Immortal, Legends/Global, and now X Division/Extreme. They should stick to one name before they confuse people.

  • What

dose this mean that the x division is now going to be called the extreme division

  • What

what they renamed the x division title
