- Adam Copeland stated during a radio interview in his native Ontario, Canada that he is no longer permitted to use the “Edge” name for public appearances since he is no longer affiliated with WWE.

“For me, Edge was just a character. I never introduced myself as (Edge). I never really worried about what people can advertise me as. It doesn’t really matter to me. I’ve always just introduced myself as Adam Copeland. I never really thought too much about it”, Copeland said in the interview.

“I think if I would have wrestled another five or seven years, I would have regrets. At this point, the rest of my body feels great. Once I get the surgery and they take the pressure off of my spinal cord, I’m going to feel like a million bucks. I feel better than most wrestlers my age; most of those guys are walking like Boris Karloff, while I’m able to run laps! I kind of look at it and go, ‘Yeah, I think this happened for a reason.’ From a physical standpoint, this is the healthiest I’ve ever felt.”

    @Skitzo

Uhm I know I watched the whole thing I said MATCHES and it didn’t have all his matches it should. Either you never payed attention to Edge’s career much or you missed some good “hidden” matches I guess then. They could have did a lot more matches and I have told everyone I personally know to watch it as its good and is probably the best they will do on Edge but its not all his best matches. And for the sake of me not “rambling” on longer I’m not wasting my time listing them so everyone can dislike for it being “to long”

  • skitzo

uh……..David, WWE already did a 3 disc DVD set AND a 2 disc blu-ray on his career. It also included pretty much every match he has done that mattered. lol

  • chronoxiong

RIP to the name of Edge.

  • David

Yeah edge should never come back again to wrestle and if he did he should just be an anouncer since King shouldn’t come back so WWE doesn’t have to worry about him and JBL needs to stay and then they could both do all the commentary for Raw, Smackdown & PPV’s and let Cole and whoever do main event or things like that…better yet fire cole? But probably never will come to do commentary. Also Adam Edge Copeland deserves a multi disc dvd showing you every match he’s done that was good…but wait they can’t since he had to many and they can’t decide on anything in WWE. Edge needs a blu ray disc or 3 disc set of all his best single matches like all his TLC matches, Some Rated RKO matches, his undertaker match at mania and the others like his match with taker in Hell in a Cell. A lot of other wrestlers should have a huge collection of the best like 30 matches they ever did released. Him and Christian would have to have the tag matches on seperate dvd collection. As they did a lot of good tag matches together.

If Edge took a serious bump that would destroy him, In the ring or not.

  • Kannon81

    Does, sorry for the error.

  • Kannon81

No he dies not! One more match could cripple if not kill him.

  • JohnCena33

Wow, the greatest Edge has ever felt, HE HAS ONE MORE MATCH IN HIM.

  • Billbo

Well that was a stupid, dated & unrelated reference.

  • nando

yep, he is Adam Copeland. and if you’re not down with that, he’s got two words for ya :D
