Adam Rose announces retirement

Adam Rose

Raymond Leppan, better known in the WWE as Adam Rose, has announced today that he will be retiring from in-ring competition this year. The leader of the Exotic Express revealed the news today on his Instagram account.

Leppan said that he’d fulfill the rest of his currently scheduled dates but will no longer take any bookings. He thanked the wrestling world, including WWE, for giving him the chance to live his dream.

While he appeared on the main roster as Adam Rose, he caught the eyes of many fans when working in FCW and the early incarnation of NXT as Leo Kruger, and managed to become a two-time FCW Heavyweight Champion. On the main roster, there were hints of him returning to his old persona, but we never got to see it before his release in 2016, though he did bring Kruger into the independent scene.

  • Good riddance wife beater.

Kind of figured that after that “No Way” Jose guy, took the “Rose Buds” Gimmick. Seems as though VInny Mac still isn’t tired of that kind of satire. Personally I find the “line of people. rose buds style… shtick, annoying.
