I want to announce my full time retirement from the wonderful world of professional wrestling. It's been one hell of a ride. I will be fullfiling all dates currently booked but not taking any more bookings going forward. Thank you to the fans who supported me, the promoters who booked me, all the good brothers and sisters who worked with me. Mainly thank you to the @wwe for letting a 9 year old South African boy live his dream. Many blessings and so much love to all. Goodbye and thank you. #wwe #nxt #raw #smackdown #shootlife #prowrestling
Leppan said that he’d fulfill the rest of his currently scheduled dates but will no longer take any bookings. He thanked the wrestling world, including WWE, for giving him the chance to live his dream.
While he appeared on the main roster as Adam Rose, he caught the eyes of many fans when working in FCW and the early incarnation of NXT as Leo Kruger, and managed to become a two-time FCW Heavyweight Champion. On the main roster, there were hints of him returning to his old persona, but we never got to see it before his release in 2016, though he did bring Kruger into the independent scene.
