Possible Additions for WWE HIAC, Goldberg Disses Ryback, Gonzales

– Giant Gonzales gets the “Superstar Spotlight” on WWE’s website today.

– Goldberg was tweeting fans on Twitter yesterday and one fan told him he should be Ryback for Halloween. Goldberg replied:

“Impossible. I have too much athletic ability.”

– It’s expected that Justin Gabriel vs. Antonio Cesaro for the United States Title or Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs. Darren Young & Titus O’Neil will be added to tonight’s WWE Hell In a Cell pay-per-view. At one point, Vince McMahon was also scheduled to appear tonight.

i think its pretty comical how stars, wrestlers, and celebs too, rappers, movie stars, etc…always gotta come out the wood work 20 yes past their prime to complain or pass judgement on someone or something ‘stealing or borrow’ a gimmack. goldberg…please just shut the hell up. you were not the first superman you will not be the last. anyone comparing the 2 are NOT fans of the sport but rather just a bunch of self centered arrogant fucks.

its just like people complaing about ADR ripping off JBL. well JBL will be the first to tell ya….he ripped off million dollar man.

How could some of you tools say Ryback is a copy of Goldberg when they dont dress alike and Ryback as of what we have seen so far has a lot more wrestling moves than Goldbergs two or three. Just cause the are both bald thats all it is. IDIOTS!

  • Tombstone

Seems like Goldberg just cannot let it go. Futile attempt to stay relevant.

goldberg had that badass charisma to the dot, paysically imposing, intense, unique at the time, and the perfect foil to the endless, talkative characters around. love him or hate him, he was the most original and impressive superstar to come out of wcw. ryback is too much of an imitation but with the right heel turn he could stop being a poor copy.

Goldberg is Goldberg and Ryback is Ryback two similar and so different wrestlers at the same time it’s’two different era and Ryback is not as big as Goldberg was and Goldberg is just been a old school wrestlers who doesn’t like to be compared as a new wrestlers lol they are both stupid and entertaining to watch if u like a brawler type of wrestler!.

As much as people may hate it, Ryback cant compare for the real reasons. Goldberg came at a desperate time and his push help keep WCW going as the NWO faded. He was a money hound and a massive draw. Its just fact. Ryback will most likey never be in that position so his stamp on the business will prob never amount to the same. Forget the ring and passion, which I respect, but Goldberg mattered in a bigger way. I was never big on Goldberg and I dislike Ryback so thats my impartial opinion.

I see both sides of it Goldberg at the time was something different something unique and Rybacks a carbon copy but I also see where Rybacks coming from by saying unlike Goldberg he is in wrestling for the love of the buisness. One could argue that part of the reason Goldberg was a sloppy worker was he rushed through the power plant because in all honesty he was a pretty good athlete. Where as Rybacks been wrestling for a good few years and showed he could actually wrestle as Skip Sheffield.
In the end if Ryback lasts he might go down as a biggers star than Bill but only because Goldberg never wrestled for very long.

  • Zedd

I thought WWE was trying to forget Giant Gonzales happened, I wouldn’t blame them.

  • Lew

Ryback is better than goldberg he already has a bigger move set goldberg was nothing but a spear a jackhammer and intensity and he didn’t love wrestling so I didn’t respect him for that u can look at ryback and tell that he loves what he is doing

  • Paul E Not-so-Dangerously

Fuck off Bill Gayberg. You’re just jealous because your time has come and gone, so you need to continually rip someone who’s in the spotlight.

I don’t know either of them personally, so I’m not going to comment on that, but I wasn’t really a fan of Goldberg and I’m not really a fan of Ryback. I didn’t like that Goldberg’s push had established veterans getting squashed by him, though that’s up to booking, and I was kind of pulling for the NWO at that point, and Ryback has shown me nothing. I’m not saying he does or doesn’t have ability, I’m saying that watching him in nothing but brawls and squash matches is meaningless to me. Going to watch how he performs in the ring with Punk, a guy who knows what he’s doing, before I decide.

I would have to agree with the preferring Ryback. He truly loves the business and put in all the hard work and isn’t just in it for the money. Goldberg, however was awesome in his day but he seems to believe his own hype in that he was a legit badass and no one can touch him. Doesn’t seem to grasp the idea of separating character from real life. Just one man’s opinion though.

  • Hank Moody

Haha, Goldberg owns Ryback’s sorry ass. You remember a few years ago when Avril Lavigne covered Metallica? Well, that’s pretty much what Ryback is.

  • Anh

I don’t know what do you guys think but I prefer Ryback somehow.
