According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a rumor (which allegedly has derived from backstage WWE talk) that WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee is close to finishing her tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment. If Nikki Bella wins the Championship at Survivor Series, it will likely represent a big sign that Lee, like her husband CM Punk, is on her way out of the company.

To offer some balance, this would be the third “AJ Lee leaving WWE rumor” of 2014 – several months ago it was reported she would lose the strap to Paige to end their feud and her run in WWE. She then took some time off with several reports indicating she wouldn’t be back, and this was also when the pregnancy rumors kicked off.
