Smackdown Live ended in a very interesting way this week. In the closing segment, AJ Styles ran to Vince McMahon backstage right after Rusev’s match. The two had an interesting exchange there.
Vince McMahon said AJ Styles has a black hole in his heart and Vince knows it. He also said that AJ has an animal inside of him that is eating him alive.
McMahon said that he wanted to see that animal. Then he slapped AJ Styles in the face and the two stared at each other. AJ then decked Vince with a forearm and knocked him to the floor. It did not take long for officials to come in and break it up, sending AJ Styles away.
Vince was asked if he was okay, to which he only said ”Yeah, I think I’m good… I think I’m good.”
This will most likely lead to an interesting storyline, where we will get to see a darker side of AJ Styles. We will have to wait and see how this story develops.
