On this week’s Smackdown Live, Randy Orton came down to the ring and wanted to get something off his chest. He said it bothered him how Styles says that SmackDown is the house that he built. He compared their career timelines and said that Smackdown was the house that he built and not AJ.
Then AJ Styles came out and said for someone who looks down on the indies, Randy followed AJ’s career very closely. He said he was proud of being from the indies and that someone like Randy wouldn’t have made it in the indies with a knockoff Diamond Cutter.
The two then had a great back and forth on the mic, with Randy saying that it is his house, “and rent is due, bitch.”
AJ Styles pointed at the Wrestlemania sign and asked Randy if he wanted his rent. The segment ended with this, but a challenge for Wrestlemania was definitely issued by AJ Styles.
So it seems that AJ Styles vs Randy Orton will be happening at Wrestlemania. We will have to wait and see how the feud develops.
