While the WWE Champion AJ Styles is considered a workhorse of the company, he has surprisingly been away from the ring in recent weeks.
Styles last wrestled in a dark match during the 22nd May episode of SmackDown Live that too ended in no contest after the interference from The Bar and the Club.
His last televised match took place during the May 15th episode of SmackDown where AJ was defeated by Shinsuke Nakamura in singles competition and he has not wrestled in any Live Events in the past three weeks.
Not only that but he is expected to miss this weekend’s Live Events as well and the next Live Event he is expected to attend is WWE’s show in Tokyo on June 29th.
His sudden hiatus from the ring has started all kinds of rumors including speculations of an injury though we may get a better idea during his scheduled match with Nakamura at the Money In The Bank PPV this Sunday.
