AJ Styles vs Shawn Michaels is a match which was heavily rumored last year before the Royal Rumble PPV but never took place and it remains to be a dream bout for fans.
During a recent interview with India Today, the current WWE Champion Styles talked about this and revealed that Michaels said no for this match.
The Phenomenal One said that being in the ring with guys like Undertaker or Shawn will be a blessing and claimed that he would love to step foot inside the ring with the Heart Break Kid:
“He [Michaels] said no. I’m not doing it. But being in the ring with someone like Shawn Michaels or the Undertaker and being able to learn from those guys will be a blessing. I would love to be in the ring with Shawn Michaels. Similar size, similar styles and to be in the ring with someone like that and all the knowledge he has. It would be a classic.”
