Al Snow acquires OVW

WWE’s former developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling, is now under new ownership. The former member of the J.O.B. Squad has been working as a trainer for the company for decades now and revealed this morning that he had purchased OVW.

Recently, Snow has been training talent through Al Snow’s Wrestling Academy, which he opened in 2015. Snow has also helped train talent for years prior to his academy opening and was even a trainer on Tough Enough.

He was interviewed on the acquisition of the company earlier today by local Louisville, KY news station WDRB, where he said:

Professional wrestling has been and always will be a passion for me. I’ve been a professional wrestler for 36 years, and I can’t continue to perform in the ring for the rest of my life, but I certainly can pass on my experience and knowledge and help create the next generation of professional wrestlers through OVW.

Snow is a well-respected veteran of the game, and it seems that OVW is in good hands.
