Global Force Wrestling champion Alberto El Patron was detained by police yesterday at the Orlando airport. PWInsider obtained the following statement from the Orlando Police Department:
“There was an incident at Orlando International Airport at about 3 p.m. Sunday involving Jose Rodriguez (DOB 5/25/1977) The reported incident was a domestic violence battery, and it is still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of this time, but the case remains open. That is all the information we have for release at this time.”
TMZ.com provided some more information on the matter. The “domestic violence battery” involved Alberto El Patron allegedly “roughing up” a female companion. A witness informed TMZ that Alberto and the woman were arguing in the airport terminal. Things then escalated and the police were called.
Paige recently posted a couple of tweets about the incident and claimed that a woman threw a drink at Patron when the couple refused a picture. Paige stated that she received some bad family news and the woman tried to take a picture.

Patron has been lashing out against Triple H and other WWE Superstars for some time now on social media. Patron posted on Instagram that he will be in San Antonio tomorrow night and challenged Triple H and the participants of last week’s rap battle on SmackDown to come to his restaurant for a fight.
