It appears that WWE has finally disclosed Aleister Black’s mystery attacker after building this storyline for months and teasing multiple superstars as the one who did it.
During the latest NXT tapings, William Regal came to ring to make the announcement of an NXT Championship match, but he was interrupted by Tomasso Ciampa.
Velveteen Dream and Lars Sullivan were the next to join Ciampa in the ring, and at the end, Nikki Cross came out in the arena, shouting ‘he’s coming’.
Aleister Black then come out through the crowd and hit Sullivan with a superkick. Johnny Gargano then appeared out of nowhere and delivered Black a superkick of his own.
Johnny then put his hood back and left to end the episode, implying that he was the one who attacked Black. This episode featuring this segment will be broadcasted on October 24th.
