Alexa Bliss talks about her non-wrestling role in WWE

Alexa Bliss is a five-time Women’s Champion, but she hasn’t competed inside the ring for a while now. She has been on television as host of the Moment Of Bliss segments but has yet to wrestle in long.

She spoke to Asbury Park Press, where she discussed her new non-wrestling role in the company. While she is appreciative of the opportunities she gets, getting involved in storylines, it doesn’t mean that she is done with wrestling.

“It’s a little bit of a change, but it’s pretty much the same kind of thing. We tell stories in the ring, out of the ring, and I’m able to do both now, which is nice. And it’s just more opportunity to be able to hone my craft and get better at what I do. A lot of times, in the stories that we tell a lot of people don’t have the opportunity to speak their character, they just have to portray it in the ring.”

“So being able to advance the storylines with talk show (segments) for other characters, plus add another dimension to my character, is a great opportunity.”

Alexa Bliss suffered multiple concussions in a short span of time last year, which had cost her many months of her career. She made a return at the Royal Rumble, where she was unable to win. Perhaps hosting WrestleMania will give her more exposure that will allow her to broaden her horizons and go beyond WWE.

It would be better if she did wrestle more since fans clearly want her to go back wrestling.
