It was reported recently that WWE has released NXT Star and Mae Young Classic competitor Zeda and now it has been revealed that she wasn’t the only star the company has let go recently.
According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Uriel Ealy, one half of the NXT Tag Team The Ealy Brothers has also been released sometime in the last week.
The Ealy brothers made their WWE debut back in May 2015 after being signed by the company earlier in the same year. They wrestled in a 6 men tag match upon their debut and lost the bout.
The released, Uriel was last seen on NXT TV in January this year. Afterward, he wrestled in several Live Events but had been inactive since March.
No word yet on why the company decided to release only one of the brothers but we’ll keep you posted if any other details on his release come to light.
