Last night, Asuka successfully defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair after SmackDown and 205 Live went off the air. After putting Flair away with the Asuka Lock, it was announced that the Empress of Tomorrow would defend her title against Mandy Rose at WWE Fastlane.
In an interview with Kayla Braxton last night, Rose, accompanied by Sonya Blade, revealed that she would challenge for the belt at the upcoming PPV. She recently picked up a pinfall victory over Asuka after luring her in, claiming she had injured her eye.
Fastlane takes place on March 10th. Below is the current card for the event:
