- WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin will be appearing tonight on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

- Natalya and Tyson Kidd will be appearing for fans at the Fairway Market in Stamford, Connecticut on June 18th from 11am.

- In case you missed it, Armando Estrada returned to WWE on last night’s Superstars program as Tyson Kidd’s manager.

- Kevin Nash spoke with The Glaswegian newspaper in the UK to promote an independent show he’s doing there. Regarding WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, Nash said:

“Drew McIntyre almost kicked my liver out of my body at the Royal Rumble. He’s got good size, good presence. I think that in Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett and Sheamus, you have got three really good UK guys in the WWE. But I think McIntyre has a little bit more quickness than the other two guys. He’s a good talent.”

    @Valo

    Tbh I think the main deal is McIntyre doesn’t get many noteworthy angles or enough time with the higher cards.

    You can’t expect someone to live up to the hype if you don’t test them out. I dunno, it’s not like it’s really about a major push more than it is wanting to see what he can do on a consistent basis with the top stars. Although then again, WWE’s so topsy turvy these days, the top stars aren’t even that compelling.

    Well except ADR.

  • Valo487

    Maybe if he did something to live up to all this hype, I would. All he’s done that I can see is stand around while people try to tell us how good he is. He has no heat whatsoever with the crowd, so obviously I’m not the only one.

  • Hunter

    Many you should question as to why so many legends think he’s talented, yet you don’t see it?

  • Valo487

    Who did McIntyre sleep with to get in all these people’s good graces? So many talented guys put him over, but I can’t for the life of me figure out why, what did he do that they think was so impressive?

  • Truth Hurts

    That, cheesehandler, is why people fly planes into buildings.

  • Dystre Fjell

    Keep handling your cheese, greaseball, and stay in your fat dwelling country.

  • cheesehandler

    anywhere NOT north america = who gives a fuck

  • Davey Zoo

    @David

    Yes, I was thinking that too plus add Mason Ryan for Wales.

    These guys are representing us well. Drew is my personal standout but I am biased. I think everyone bar the wwe have higher regards for him after his performance in the elimination chamber.

  • JIR

    what like Le Resistance

  • David

    That would make an interesting faction.

    Well, very simply, the whole island or Ireland was once part of the UK, much like the US, Cananda, India, and approximatly one third of the worlds total land mass was all once part of the UK (hence the term “The British Empire”). Like in all those places, many of the local population had no interest in being British. But some of them did. Beginning in the 1920′s, the island of Ireland was partitioned, Northern Ireland remained part of the UK, whilst the remaining five sixths of the island became an independant country.

    The troubles (Which is about 75 years of opposing terrorist groups blowing each other up in a mass outpouring of stupid violence) was about this partition- the unionist groups were quite happy with the settlement regarding Northern Ireland, while republican groups believed that Northern Ireland should be part of the Republic of Ireland, as opposed to being part of the UK.

    To complicate the issue- most republicans are Catholic, and most unionists are Protestent, which made all this fighting about what country Northern Ireland should belong also about religion- which just made everything worse.

    Heres a not bad map which illustrates it quite well (the yellow/orangy bit being the UK):

    Incidentally, Finlay is from Carrickfergus- thats in Northern Ireland (i.e. the part thats in the UK)

  • !?

    The whole Ireland thing confuses me to no end. So what, are there two races of Irish? What does that make Finlay then? Back when he and Regal were feuding, WWE played off the fact that there nations don’t like each other, yet a part of Ireland is part of the UK? I don’t understand at all.

  • Ron

    Nobody’s perfect.. ^^^

  • CiB

    Sheamus is from the Republic Of Ireland- the part that isn’t part of the UK. So, 2 UK guys then.
