Backstage Fallout from RAW, Booker T Talks Relationship with HHH

– Here’s the latest Backstage Fallout from RAW:

– 2013 Hall of Famer Booker T discussed his relationship with Triple H during an interview on The Troy show:

“Hunter and I, for the longest time, we’ve never been friends or anything like that but I’ve always respected him for his body of work. Being a guy that was in WCW watching what was going on the other side as one of the guys, I could actually see what was happening. He worked harder than anyone in the company, the guy was a cornerstone of the Attitude Era. All the guys that Triple H faced — The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin — all of them had to go through Triple H to get made from a certain perspective. He was the guy of the Attitude Era, the glue that was keeping everything together.”

I disagree, the Ladder match of Summerslam ’98 was a career highlight of Rock and Triple H. I agree Rock did need to go through Triple H to get big because after this his momentum really took off. He went from being Great to nothing short of amazing.

Boy some people need to learn how to read on this site. Where did it say HHH made Stone Cold or The Rock who they are today. Booker T never said that it just Booker T is telling you what other wrestler have always known about HHH. He was this a big of part of the Attitude era then Stone Cold and The Rock. Who you think help carry the company when Stone Cold had that big neck surgry. Who you think was running DX when HBK back got injury. Face it HHH was just as big in the Attitude era and the thing is he still here. Yeah a part timer but he still put on a heck of a show in the ring. Even though his haters don’t want to say it But fact is HHH and Undertaker is what is keeping people tune into to see. Booker T and HHH no they are not freinds but they have respect for each other. Something HHH haters knows nothing about.

  • Sorry, but Undertaker didn’t have to “go through HHH” to “get made”. I think it was the other way around, and he never could. HHH is a chump, and he absolutely did not “work harder” than those other guys.

  • He helped with the attitude era but the Rock, and SCSA made the era.

All three of those guys were big before triple h. Bret Hart helped bring SCSA to the top. The Rock made it big in the Nation of Domination. The Undertaker has been an icon since before the attitude era. Triple H was only Hunter Herst Helmsley watching HBK’s back in DX. He became a huge when HBK left. I like Triple H but if he wasn’t married to the boss’ daughter he probably would be as huge as he is

sorry booker, but taker was already a ‘made-guy”

  • Shawn Bronald

    Booker kissing the bosses ass.
