Home » WWE News » Backstage News on CM Punk’s Status for Monday’s RAW from Chicago, How He Acted In Vegas

- People who spoke to CM Punk at last weekend’s UFC pay-per-view from Las Vegas noted that he seemed very non-committal about his status with WWE and treated it like it was something in his past.

At last Monday’s RAW from Green Bay, there was no talk among the talents that anyone would be seeing Punk next week.

Internally, Punk is not expected to be at Monday’s RAW from his hometown of Chicago and there is concern over what the crowd will do without him there.

Punk really has the fans in the palm of his hand. Chicago is going to be nuts whether he shows up or not, but I bet the chants stop Tuesday when they figure out he isn’t coming back anytime soon…

They are concerned about the crowd, unless its putting on creative, entertaining content, then they clearly don’t care.

To me this screams he is gonna be there. Him and Vince have agreed for something because to not have a top three guy at mania would be PPV suicide. So, like Warrior or even Jarrett, he got extra loot for another showing then he could go away. I think Punk is a company guy that likes to pretend otherwise.

Does anyone find it laughable that they are concerned about the crowd? I mean, of all things to be concerned about… really?

    He’s done.
