As seen this past Sunday Night, Kurt Angle made his in-ring return for WWE after almost 11 years during the TLC PPV as a replacement for Roman Reigns.
According to reports from Pwinsider, the person behind Kurt’s in-ring return was none other than the boss, Vince McMahon, as it was his idea to have Angle replace Reigns.
The idea was reportedly proposed on Thursday before the PPV, and once everybody agreed to it they scheduled a physical for Kurt the next day.
According to the site, WWE announced the news of Kurt’s return within minutes of Angle passing the physical to get back into the ring.
Regarding the possibilities of Kurt Angle having another match, it’s been said that currently there are no plans for him but since he has passed the physical, the door for more matches is open.
