Backstage News On Jeff Jarrett Working With TNA After Sunday’s Slammiversary PPV

Dave Meltzer noted during the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that it was an interesting day for TNA on Wednesday.

TNA officials had a two hour show written for Wednesday’s episode and did not indicate the production team that Jeff Jarrett would be appearing and that led to a lot of work for the production people to edit the show prior to the show airing on Destination America.

It was said that a lot of people were surprised that Jarrett showed up due to all the bad blood between he and the company.

Jarrett’s deal is not a one-time only thing. While he was not in charge last night, he will be working with TNA going forward with the storylines. Jarrett was contacted by TNA five days ago but didn’t make the deal until recently.

As of this writing, there is no negotiations ongoing where Jarrett is trying to buy TNA, but it could always happen in the future.

People in TNA do not believe there will be an owner change. The feeling is that TNA and GFW will be working together.

It’s expected that Jarrett will have GFW be an invade TNA and it will be turned into a storyline on TV.
