Backstage news on new WWE programming on Fox

WWE’s new TV Deal with Fox has made a lot of headlines in the past few months and it’s pretty well known now that the company’s SmackDown Live will air on Fox from next year.

However, it appears that the Blue Branded Show won’t be the only WWE event to regularly appear on their network and a couple of more shows are being planned.

Richard Deitsch of The Athletic is reporting that there is a good chance that there will be a SmackDown pre-show each week which will air on FS1.

In addition to this, there are also talks of FS1 airing a post-show for important WWE Pay Per View events such as the upcoming SummerSlam PPV.

The talents for these shows are likely to be hired by Fox with some approval from WWE. It’s worth mentioning here that previous reports also suggested the possibility of a weekly WWE studio show on Fox, airing on Wednesday nights.

SmackDown Live will move to Friday Nights and start airing on Fox from October 19, 2019,
