Backstage news on the plans for the Cruiserweight Championship

We noted before how Neville ‘walking out’ of this week’s episode of Raw forced WWE to change their original plans for the main event which was to have a non title match between him and Enzo Amore.

After he left the arena, Vince McMahon made the call to have Kalisto face Enzo during the show and defeat him to become the new Cruiserweight Champion, though it appears this arrangement is just temporary.

According to Wrestling Observer, the current plans are to put the title back on Enzo in near future because 205 Live will still be built around him.

Currently, it’s not known when they will put the title back on Amore, but the most likely destination for it appears to be the upcoming Raw Exclusive PPV TLC where the Realist Guy In The Roof will be invoking his rematch clause.

Regarding Neville’s status with WWE, the observer notes that while WWE is trying to deny the reports of him quitting, the common belief is that he has left the company for good with one source telling them that he is 100% gone.
