Backstage News on RVD’s WWE Return, Is Ryback vs. Cena Over?, Payback Timing Issues

– Due to time constraints, WWE cut minutes from two matches at Payback last night – Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns plus the Three Stages of Hell match with Ryback vs. John Cena.

– Regarding Rob Van Dam’s return to WWE, he will be working a limited schedule and won’t be on the road full time. His contract is reportedly for the short term also.

– Word at last night’s Payback pay-per-view was that the Ryback vs. Cena feud is over. The plan as of this weekend was still for Daniel Bryan vs. Cena to main event the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

While I dont particularly like Ryback, how the hell can WWE think pushing him as this monster, yet cant ever win any PPV matches?
The best way to have gotten him over would have been for him to beat Cena at some point, seeing as Cena is constantly hyped as being one of the toughest guys, and is “the face of WWE”.

Ryback will lose to 3MB, then lose to Jack Swagger, then lose to Tensai,
then beat Yoshi Tatsu just in time to lose to Christian.

John Cena, the human push killer. I wonder what’s next for Ryback, a series against the Miz? I thought they could have gotten a lot more out of his first run. It might not be all that bad, though, unless they do that thing on RAW where Cena squashes his opponent after a PPV victory to end the feud.
