The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the decision to turn Seth Rollins’ heel was made at the last-minute. It’s also reported that despite indications to the contrary, the plan was not a deviation from a turning Dean Ambrose heel either. Despite speculation and some teasers, such as Ambrose referring to The Shield as his “former partners” in WWE Magazine, there was never any intention to turn Ambrose heel.

It’s also noted there are no plans for Rollins’ to become a member of Evolution, nor to replace him in The Shield. A final tidbit is that Rollins’ ring outfit going forward is being discussed.
