- Regarding Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement for one more match, it’s said the ball is in his court. WWE wants him to return for a singles match at WrestleMania XXX.

There is no talk of doing HBK vs. CM Punk and no talk of a potential tag match with HBK and Triple H vs. Punk and Daniel Bryan. If Shawn agrees to come out of retirement, WWE wants it to be for only one match and that match would be against Bryan. The segment with HBK and Punk on Monday’s RAW was done so they could save the Punk-HHH confrontation.

Whether or not Shawn decides to return to the ring, expect to see a lot more of him on WWE TV going into WrestleMania XXX.

Nah I meant their screen time, and even then they screwed it up

Punk vs Bryan would be a much better option

Who’s clamoring for Orton/Ziggler? Not that it wouldn’t be a fine match but I haven’t exactly seen an outpour of fans asking to see that match.

They literally had one ppv match over 2yrs ago, how is that done to death?

  • Kristopher Robinson

Would be a great match, but I would be disappointed in HBK if he did another match. 1) the guy is half broken an has nothing to prove and no point in risking his health. B) it would basically make his retirement match with Taker pointless, his career was on the line and he lost.

  • Kristopher Robinson

That would be pointless for DB though.

  • Stephen Giuffrida

only if HBK get the win. I know DB has more to lose and hbk less to gain. To see HBK go out a winner would be the best for me. He is the GOAT

I would prefer Punk v Michaels, or Bryan v Michaels. Either match would be great.

WMXXX could shape up to be a night of legends with enough old-school wrestlers showing up. I realize this is frowned up on because it takes away from the younger talent, but I wouldn’t be opposed to a legends-themed Mania or at least a single PPV. There’s been a lot of talk about Michaels, Hogan, Warrior, Goldberg, etc. all coming out of retirement. Seems like they could easily stack the deck for the “Superbowl” of wrestling. Throw Jake Roberts in there too while you’re at it.

But punk/HHH has been done to death

How can Mr. Wrestlemania say no to wrestling at the biggest sports entertainment event of all time? Just call it a street fight instead of a match.
