Backstage News on Sting vs. Hogan at Bound For Glory, Bischoff’s TNA Status & More

– As noted before, Hulk Hogan has re-signed with TNA. This means that Eric Bischoff will also be sticking around.

– Hogan is in Los Angeles this week filming new commercials for Rent-A-Center with NFL Legend Troy Aikman.

– After originally changing the Sting vs. Hulk Hogan singles match at Bound For Glory, TNA was planning on doing a three-way with Sting, Hogan and Ric Flair. Flair ended up injured and they went back to the Sting vs. Hogan match with a No DQ stipulation. Officials were hoping that adding Flair to the match would help with any problems that Hogan might have.

I wonder since HOGAN is in such finanical distress if not only he is the Pick Man for Rent-A-Center but its also a customer? Now dat be some funny shit.

Andrew, I have to agree with you. I’m far from a fanboy of any promotion, as I want them ALL to succeed, but I have zero interest in watching Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair in the ring. Especially not when TNA does have some excellent talent waiting in the wings. I just don’t get it. This makes the horrible idea of Kevin Nash vs. CM Punk sound exciting in comparison.

This tells you that Hogan can’t wrestle anymore that they wanted Flair to help carry the match. Flair is even hurt now. lol. These three should wrestle in a buried alive match. Undertaker should come out and bury all three of them.

    I’m so happy it’s 1996 again…

…..ok, this is insane! I’m probably one of the most unbiased spectators of wrestling. I do my best to watch TNA, ROH, WWE and whatever I can find and I try to give every promotion as fair a chance as possible, but how the hell do you expect me to support the rationalization of adding 2 men, one on a SHARP decline and the other barely able to move every morning (unless he lies in interviews), into a main event, with the rationalization of possibly using another man, who’s been on a decline since 2008, as a cover? Geez, it’s getting damn near impossible to give TNA a fair chance and hope for the best day by day and THIS just makes you almost wish TNA ran out of business so that the guys that are in their prime/haven’t hit their prime yet can have a chance to bail from this nightmarish fiasco that is TNA right now…..
