– TNA originally brought Homicide back for the first set of New York City tapings just to work multi-man X Division matches. Apparently there were no plans to use him after those first tapings.
However, the Brooklyn native got over so well that they re-wrote some parts of Impact Wrestling and put him over so they could build to the X Division Title match between Homicide and Samoa Joe that took place last week.
Homicide was going to work last week’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, PA but missed them due to some nagging elbow and shoulder injuries.
