- Regarding the finish to the SummerSlam WWE Title match, many people backstage believed it was fantastic but some took the “now we can tell a great story and when Bryan gets his revenge it will get him over even more” stance.

Some took the “they should have let Bryan have his moment and it would have made him right there and he wouldn’t have had to be made after a chase” position.

Several within WWE also commented that the it made no sense for Bryan to not kick out considering how much time passed between Triple H’s Pedigree and Orton’s pin.

Few people also pointed out that it’s ridiculous that a maneuver from a retired wrestler is so devastating that it outdid anything that John Cena did in the match.

they need to make Cena into heel when he comes back that would prob boost the ratings.

Not so sure that would count for much. Look how Cena failed to win using his contract. It should have been a huge deal that he is the only person to have not won a title after cashing it in, but it got swept quietly under the carpet.

Anyone who takes the stance that HHH is a retired wrestler and it undid anything Cena did, is an idiot.
Firstly, retired or not, HHH is still very current. I mean, it wasnt that long ago he was wrestling Lesnar, so why should his finisher be considered weaker now?
Secondly, the point is that Bryan had been through a gruelling match and was now in a weakened state, and the pedigree out of the blue meant he was in no way prepared for it.

Somehow I doubt anyone in WWE took this stance, unless maybe it was the tea boy who knows jack all about wrestling.

I took the “Bryan should have tried to get up and Orton should have punted Bryan after the pedigree, or at least hit the RKO after Bryan kicked out” stance.

He doesn’t need “more getting over”. He’s over as hell right now. Some fans sit and try to claim that some people aren’t happy with anything WWE does, yet those self-same folks seem to just accept whatever WWE pushed on them, no matter what. It goes both ways.

Cena isn’t going to be out long enough for DB’s “time” to matter, I’m sorry to say. I hate to sound so negative, but I’ve just seen too much from WWE over the years to really believe they’re going to sustain a push for him. Put DB and CM Punk in a WM main event, then we’ll talk. Or hell, have a main event that DOESN’T involve Cena/The Rock/Lesnar/Undertaker/HHH/Orton, and we’ll talk.

Well there ya go folks. But I’m sure many of you still think it was an amazing plan.

I saw this coming last week just because it made so much sense. I mean look who is more like HHH better then Randy Orton to be his guy in the up coming future. I don’t really call HHH and Randy Orton full heel like many people may call them did you see the pop the two got. I not so sure HHH is what you call a heel type anymore it like turning Undertaker heel only going to give him more fans cheering for him. Randy Orton well he really been out of the title picture for a while it been 2 years. Yes it a recycling door but you still have to have your main guys holding the top title once in a while just because it a house whole name. I just don’t see Randy Orton and HHH as full heel just because many people been missing the old HHH and Randy Orton. It also going to get a lot of people tuning in tonight. You see a WWE title with heat now draw more viewership. If Daniel Bryan had won the WWE title and nothing happen Bryan would have gotten stale quit. But now we have to see what is going to happen next.

Was a great match with a great 1st ending and poor 2nd ending! There was way to much time between the pedigree n the pin. He should have def kicked out! And they should have done something bigger than just hhh doing a pedigree. And if they felt d bryan needs more getting over i guess they didnt hear the wwe crowd last night, cause u couldnt even here the lil kids n girls screaming for cena over the yes chants!

I personally think it was well played and with Cena out I believe DB will finally get his time. And about the pedigree thing, he just was in a match so it made sense that the pedigree was what finally broke the camels back, and it looks like a devastating move IMO. I do feel bad for DB but I think this will be a lot more beneficial to DB than If it didn’t happen. Being in a new Evolution or a new Corporation type and it’ll make for great tv again.

OR Should have been Bryan wins the belt and Orton comes out while Bryan is dead tired and still goes on. Then Bryan could say hes the first one to beat a money in the back winner
