Vince McMahon’s comments about “grabbing the brass ring” on Steve Austin’s podcast have mainly been taken as a joke by several people backstage in WWE.
While nobody will come out and say this publicly, McMahon is the one controlling the pushes of the talent, not the talent themselves. There is also a consensus that McMahon refuses to take any blame for WWE’s current problems.
