We reported before how WWE Champion AJ Styles apparently suffered some sort of leg injury over the past week, after performing at last week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
He was expected to wrestle on Friday’s WWE Live Event but it was changed into an angle instead and then he ended up missing Saturday’s event as well.
These reports had left the announced WrestleMania match between Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura in jeopardy, with many wondering if we’ll miss out on the bout due to this injury.
However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has revealed that Styles was evaluated on Monday and was cleared for his match at the Show of Shows.
Though as seen on SmackDown Live this week, AJ Styles was kept away from action which likely means that the company will keep him away from ring presumably untill Mania as a precautionary measure.
