- Triple H re-tweeting WWE’s message to angry Alberto Del Rio fans had many thinking that the whole release and backstage incident with a WWE.com employee was part of a storyline. In case you missed it, here’s what they wrote:
“@VivaDelRio is responsible for his own actions. If you’re angry at anyone, be angry at Alberto. There’s no excuse for a pro athlete not to conduct themselves in a professional manner.”
F4Wonline.com reports that people within WWE who would be in the know say that what was reported really went down and Del Rio is really gone from the company.
Del Rio has not tweeted since the release. It’s also worth noting that the incident was picked up by The Washington Post, among others.
