Paul Heyman has signed a new WWE contract prior to he and Brock Lesnar’s appearance on Monday Night RAW, and it wasn’t an easy task to pull off. Although Heyman was generally expected to get a new deal done with the company prior to SummerSlam, it appears things sped up after Lesnar spoke up making it clear he wanted the WWE to make a deal happen because he wanted Paul at his side.

According to PWInsider, Heyman was pushing for a raise well above what he was originally making in his previous contract but the company remained firm amongst negotiations. No word yet on if Heyman’s terms were met, but we’ll keep you updated as we learn more…
