Backstage Update On Davey Richards’ Injury

– As noted, Davey Richards of The Wolves suffered a knee injury at the recent Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Birmingham, GB at the Birmingham Barclaycard Arena. TNA announced that he underwent an MRI, and the initial diagnosis was a “meniscus issue.”

The latest word on Richards injury is that he suffered a serious ACL injury. It’s unknown if he tore his ACL, but he will be out of action for a significant length of time. The good thing for Richards is that he just signed his guaranteed contract with TNA. Now, TNA will have to make some changes to their storylines. His tag team partner Eddie Edwards will either be pushed as a singles star or will get a new tag team partner. Before his injury, TNA had planned for The Wolves to feud with Beer Money. Now, those plans are on hold.

– TNA has made some minor changes to their offices on the third floor at Cummins Station in Nashville. TNA used to have the TV studio in the basement, the merchandise in the building and the employee offices on the third floor. Now, TNA has their employee offices in the basement where the studio is.
