Taker was notably dealing with hip issues heading into the match, as he underwent hip surgery in Fall of 2016.
No news on whether or not this will affect his plans for Wrestlemania 33, but currently he is slated to take on Roman Reigns in Orlando.
– F4WOnline also reports that WWE United States Champ Chris Jericho seems to have suffered a minor injury to his ankle during the Battle Royal at the Royal Rumble during Brock Lesnar’s tossing around of the entire roster when he made his entry into the Rumble. The injury didn’t prevent Jericho form wrestling Sami Zayn on last night’s (Mon. January 30, 2017) episode of WWE Monday Night RAW for 14 minutes.
