Baron Corbin says he was happy to cut his hair

The Lone Wolf recently underwent a physical change when he cut off eight inches of hair from his head. After being drafted to Monday Night Raw, Baron Corbin was eventually made Stephanie McMahon’s “Constable,” forcing a wardrobe change and a haircut.

Well, it might not have been exactly forced. Turns out, Corbin was happy to get rid of his hair. While on KELOLAND Living yesterday, he claimed that having long hair is a pain.

It was just a part of stepping into this role that Stephanie has given me. Looking professional. And if I’m gonna be telling people what to do, I want to look professional as well.

It was great to get rid of the long hair. It’s such a pain. If you look at it, it’s always wet when guys wrestle. You dump gallons of conditioner in it to keep it wet so you’re not choking on it. You have all kinds of stuff in it, and just maintaining it is a lot of work. I don’t envy people with long hair. I’m glad mine is gone.

It’s kind of shocking to see that he was so happy to let it go if I’m being honest. I assumed it was something the company required he do. Glad to hear that he likes his new look, though. Suit and all.

It was rumored that Vince McMahon was still high on Baron Corbin even after a failed cash in and utter beat down by John Cena at last year’s Summerslam made fans think otherwise. Maybe this is the first step in better things for the Lone Wolf.
