Batista made his return to WWE television during the SmackDown 1000th episode last week where he teased a future match with Triple H.
WWE recently posted a behind the scenes video of the Animal’s return to the Blue Branded Show where he is seen greeting with his old friends in the locker room.
During the video, the former World Champion also talked about being nervous during the show and revealed the advice he got from Vince McMahon about it:
“I told Vince how nervous I was, he said, ‘When you go out there, just tell them, be honest and speak from the heart.’ First thing I said, ‘I’m nervous’ because I was. I didn’t want to pull any punches, I was nervous, man.”
Batista has previously talked openly about possibly having another run in WWE and it seems like the company planted seeds for his comeback run during the special SmackDown episode.
