WWE has announced a huge battleground rematch to take place as the likely main event for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live from Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
The company has announced that WWE Champion Jinder Mahal will be taking on The Viper Randy Orton in a one on one bout, though this time thankfully not inside any kind of cage.
Other matches announced for the show include Lana vs Charlotte Flair and SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Naomi vs. Ms Money In The Bank Carmella.
While Randy and Mahal have a had a lengthy feud just recently, their match is not expected to have any long term implications as both are set to face different stars at Summerslam.
After last week’s victory, Shinsuke Nakamura is now scheduled to challenge Mahal for his championship at The Biggest Event Of The Summer and on the other hand, Randy Orton will be facing Rusev at the upcoming PPV.
