Becky Lynch made her return last Tuesday, helping Naomi and Charlotte take on the Riott Squad, immediately jumping into one of Smackdown Live’s top story lines. The Lass Kicker has come back with a vengeance, and it looks like she’s ready to make history at the Royal Rumble.
On January 9th, the former SD Women’s Champion announced before her match with Ruby Riott that she’s entering the Women’s Royal Rumble and is Smackdown’s final participant.
“That is no coincidence,” said Lynch, “because at the Royal Rumble, I’m gonna be the last woman standing.”
Lynch would go on to make Riott tap to the disarmer, before Smackdown would show a video showing Sami, disguised as a fan, asking Becky Lynch to be his partner for the Mixed Match Challenge. Lynch has had two strong weeks since her return, and looks to move on with a great showing in the MMC and the Rumble.
