Becky Lynch praises Ronda Rousey while again discussing their possible WrestleMania main event

Since being forced to pass on her fight with Ronda Rousey at WWE Survivor Series, Becky Lynch has been continuing their feud through Twitter and her promos on SmackDown. At WWE TLC, Rousey cost Lynch her championship when she pushed The Man and Charlotte Flair off of the ladder, allowing Asuka to pick up her first main roster title.

It seems we’re continuing to build towards something huge with Lynch and Rousey, which is clearly the right move. Lynch has become one of the most popular stars in the company right now, and a mega fight between her and Rousey at WrestleMania just seems like easy money.

Lynch has been campaigning for a WrestleMania main event spot featuring her and the Raw Women’s Champion for weeks now. On a recent episode of the E&C Pod of Awesomeness, Lynch stated that she respected Ronda Rousey.

Ronda in her sport was a pioneer. I don’t think that women would be in the UFC if not for Ronda Rousey and Dana White said that himself.

Here she came in with a name from somewhere else, having been born tough and born this athletic creation that winning came so easily to her. It’s come so easily for her where she’s picked up this game quicker than anybody I’ve ever seen, with maybe the exception of Kurt Angle.

Lynch went on to say why a big fight between herself and Rousey will attract fans, and again claimed that they’ll face each other in the main event of WrestleMania.

It’s one thing to be born tough like Ronda, but it’s a whole different thing to be made tough the way that I am. That’s the difference between the two of us and I’m going to prove what is longer lasting, and I’m going to prove it in the main event of WrestleMania against Ronda Rousey.

Rousey’s story with Becky Lynch isn’t over, and if the WWE handles it well, we very well could see the two main event WrestleMania.
