– The February 2012 issue of WWE Magazine features an interview with Beth Phoenix and Natalya and they are asked how far they are willing to go to see the Women’s Tag Team Championship brought back.

“I would absolutely do anything within my power,” Beth says. “I think we have enough Divas for a tag team division, and with the Divas Title currently being held on Raw, SmackDown is left without something to fight for. So tag titles would be amazing.”

Natalya adds, “And Beth and I are the perfect representatives to be the first-ever Divas Tag Team Champions. I’d love to see that happen. There are so many Diva tag team matches that it would be ideal.”

— It was announced in October at Ringside Fest in New York City that Mattel would release a WWE action figure on Miss Elizabeth in 2012 via MattyCollector.com. According to a promotional advertisement in the February 2012 issue of WWE Magazine, the action figure will be released in November.

The action figure will be based on how she appeared in this photo shoot.

No need for women’s tag titles.

Phoenix and Natalya should just go to TNA and work with us, they could work with the best female talent in pro wrestling right now and get there tag title division. I can’t wait until June when Beth’s contract comes up and she comes home.

Phoenix and Natalya should just go after the Wwe Tag Team Championships instead. There is little focus on the Diva’s, Us, Intercontinental and Tag Team championships as it is. There doesn’t need to be another title for such a small group.

There has been women’s tag team championships before in the 80’s, and there is no need to bring it back. The diva’s division and men’s tag team division need A LOT of work as it is, and I would rather WWE give them both some attention instead. RIP Miss Elizabeth.

The Diva’s division has been shit since the end of the Mickie/Trish storyline back around Mania 22. That was the last good thing to happen to the WWE’s women’s division.

  • PinkSinCara

We rarely see tag, IC or US title matches anymore. Divas tag would be useless

  • AttitudePl0x

Although the situation for the women’s division has been getting better, the WWE executive team still think women’s division isn’t that important. I wish they would create some sort of storylines (Good ones) for the women to actually sink their teeth into. In my opinion, the women’s division at the moment has the right talents, the right wrestlers, and the right minds. It’s just nobody gives them a chance to shine.

Would make sense to have tag belts. To be fair, that’s all they ever do, tag matches.

The Divas don’t get enough exposure as individuals. They just get thrown into 8-person tag matches or battle royals constantly because they don’t know what to do with them. It’s awful writing.

They already had the recently, it was called the bellas basically both holding the titles and laycool did it too, Nobody would give a crap about the womens Tag team title division considering they don’t give a crap about the mens tag team division. its ironic that the tag team titles look like huge pennys btw considering thats about there worth now a days.
