Some fans might not realize it but Big Cass and Carmella have been a couple since their days together in NXT. The two used to frolic to the ring alongside Enzo Amore, but that was a long time ago.
But now that Big Cass and Enzo are no longer a unit, it seems as though Colin Cassady is on his own. He doesn’t even have his girl by his side anymore because she’s on SmackDown Live maintaining a strange relationship with James Ellsworth.
Big Cass recently spoke to Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast about how he and The Princess Of Staten Island deal with being kept apart. It can’t be easy to make it work as Big Cass throw a little dig in there about being the only couple in WWE being kept apart due to brand lines.
“Oh yeah, we never see [each other]. We see each other one-and-a-half days a week! I think we’re the only couple on [WWE] TV that isn’t on the same brand if I’m correct. I’m almost 100% sure that that’s the case. Yeah, so we’re the only ones. It’s tough. We see each other one-and-a-half days a week.” Cass reflected, “we talk about everything but wrestling. We try not to talk about wrestling. It’s just too much. Yeah, we try to stay as far away from it as possible.”
