More Big Changes Made to Brock Lesnar’s UFC Fight

As we reported, Brock Lesnar was set to headline tomorrow’s UFC 200 card against Mark Hunt, after the original main even between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier fell through after Jones was flagged for a potential doping violation.

Now the UFC has decided to continue to shuffle the deck, and has replaced Jones with the legendary Anderson Silva, as well as making the women’s bantamweight title bout between Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes the new main event. Lesnar’s bout with Hunt was then demoted to the co-main event once again.

Case in point, look at Wrestlemania X8. Going in to the event what everyone wanted to see was The Rock vs. ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan. The match turned out to be leaps and bounds better than anyone could have hopes due to the crowd interaction. When it came time for the ACTUAL main event between Triple H and Chris Jericho to come on, no one gave a rip.

you can try to claim its a co-headline, but everyone knows that any extra buys they get is because of one of the biggest names in both MMA and pro wrestling is making his return. its an unheard of deal, so there is only one headline match.

Everybody coming to see Brock. Dana knows that. This is a joint-deal with WWE to send Brock to UFC 200 and to send Ronda Rousey to Wrestlemania 33. No more, no less.
