Big match announced for the Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam

Frustrated after getting beaten up badly by Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens decided to seek help from RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Owens talked to Stephanie about Braun’s actions and revealed that he wants to go up against Braun Strowman once again but there’s a condition. Owens said that if he ends up winning against Strowman, he gets to keep the Money in the Bank contract.

McMahon granted Owens his match against Strowman at SummerSlam next month.

It will be interesting to see how this feud plays out over the next few weeks until the two’s eventual face off at SummerSlam.

I wonder if there is a screw job coming for Braun Strowman. Because I believe it should be WM 35 Braun Strowman become Universal Champion.

I don’t think Braun Strowman will lose because they been building him up since after WM to be the next Unversal Champion.

I complete disagree. I love the fact the MitB can be put up for grabs.

    1. It gives the briefcase holder urgency to cash in knowing he can be challenged for it. Im surprised it hasnt been done more often before.

    2. It can be viewed as a quasi-title that be challenged for, which can be used to give guys who are in creative limbo something to do, even if its just for a month.

It’s less ridiculous than having the MitB winner cash in and lose considering that he is picking his spot.

Im not saying play hot potato with the briefcase exchanging hands every other month, but it just adds the sense of urgency for the holder to cash in

I love KO and Braun but this is retarded since KO doesn’t have to put anything on the line AND clearly has the right to that contract and shouldn’t have to put it on the line unless he wants to. If Braun loses wants the point of that PPV MITB since he won it and never said he’ll put it up for grabs? Dumb storyline imo.
