– As noted before, WrestleMania 28 will be held at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami. WWE officials will announce the full details at a press conference today where local politicians and leaders will be in attendance. Grammy Award winner Emilio Estefan will also be on-hand.
Miami won the bid to host WrestleMania in 2012 over Indianapolis, New York, Toronto, New Orleans and Los Angeles.
Miami tried to get WrestleMania 27 but Atlanta won the bid. WWE officials reportedly chose Miami for 2012 because of its “international ties, facilities, airports and experience hosting hundreds of other mega events.”
