Former WWE and TNA Wrestling star, ex-Strikeforce fighter Bobby Lashley returns to the cage on March 25 to headline the HDNet-televised Titan Fighting Championships 17 event.
Officials today announced Lashley (5-1) fights M-1 Challenger James Jack (6-2-1) at the show.
The event takes place March 25 at Historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan.
Lashley opened his MMA career in 2008 with five consecutive wins, including a first-round TKO of Wes Sims in his 2010 Strikeforce debut. But later that year, he suffered a second-round TKO loss to Chad Griggs and then severed ties with the promotion. The Kansas native and amateur-wrestling champion at Missouri Valley College now fights close to home. Some questioned whether the former pro wrestling star would give up the sport altogether.
