Former TNA Champion Bobby Roode was seen at ringside at NXT Takeover: Dallas and there have been reports that WWE is interested in signing him. Roode spoke with The Examiner and provided an update on his status with the company. Here is what he had to say:
“I’m not officially signed yet. The Internet has blown up over it, and I mean I’m close, but I don’t want to spoil anything or ruin anything. I want to wait until it’s official. I don’t want to jinx anything either.”
As noted, WWE is also interested in former TNA star Eric Young. If WWE were able to sign the two stars, then they would work in NXT to help the younger talents.
