– While there have been rumors of Booker T returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble, sources report that negotiations with him and WWE have fallen apart because Booker asked for a deal that included a very limited schedule. One described the deal as an “HBK-style deal.”
Booker T told Monday Night Mayhem last week that he was interested in returning to WWE as a TV announcer as he wasn’t too sure about the grueling WWE schedule as a wrestler.
