WWE has been building up to Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar 2 since their match back at Wrestlemania 31. Since failing to defeat Lesnar for the WWE Title, Reigns has been working on getting the WWE Universe behind him, with little success. However, it seems fans are beginning to appreciate what he can bring to the table, even if he isn’t the most talented man on the roster.
After winning the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday, and cutting what some consider the best promo of his career on Monday Night Raw, it seemed that our main event for Wrestlemania was locked in. This might not be the case, though, as WWE is planning to use Braun Strowman in the match if the allegations of Reigns involving a steroid ring are true.
Richard Rodriguez, the man in charge of Wellness Fitness Nutrition, has claimed that Roman Reigns is involved in some way, and filmmaker Jon Bravo has been working on a report detailing the ins and outs of the operation. According to Bravo, several former and current WWE superstars have been named, including Reigns.
Bravo has been going on about his findings since late December, claiming that three “A-list celebrities” were involved in Rodriguez’s steroid ring: Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, and Roman Reigns. However, Bravo has yet to release any evidence to back his case.

If the story turns out to be true, WWE plans to use Braun Strowman in the Universal Title match at Wrestlemania. In this week’s Wrestling Observer Radio show, Dave Meltzer stated that WWE will either replace Roman with Braun or add Braun to the match to make it a triple threat.
Braun’s original plans for Mania involved fighting the Miz for the Intercontinental Title, either in a one on one match or in a fatal 5 way. Braun could also continue his feud with Elias heading into Mania. Where Braun ends up on the card all depends on the findings Bravo releases.
